Licensing Requirements to Become a Home Health Aide in Texas
Texas Health and Human Services require a minimum of 16 hours of clinical training before you acquire a licensed Home Health Aid.
You will undergo this hands-on training period under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Your training should also consist of 75 hours of classroom hours too.
Not all your time spent will be in a person’s home, however.

Healthcare course concentrations are offered at Victoria Healthcare Academy CNA, Medication Aide, Medical Assistant, and Phlebotomy and EKG Technician.
You have the chance to earn your caretaking certificates on your time with varying schedules available.
