Indiana Medical Billing and Coding Licensing Requirements
The state of Indiana does not require a billing and coding license to perform this job role.
Instead, the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) offers several different medical billing and coding certifications.
Three common certificates earned include the Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), and Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC).
